Digital Retinal Photography

At C-True Opticians we offer Digital Retinal Photography test with our advanced Retinal  Camera technology. It is particularly important to detect and monitor changes in health inside the eye. Often times we find things with this technology that might not be detected using more traditional technologies. As  well, It also provides a permanent record of the condition of
the retina so that small changes over time can be detected early.

The Topcon camera in our clinic is one of the best in the industry with incredibly high resolution and is great at detecting even subtle changes in the macula, optic nerve and within the vessel arcade. We recommend this test for all our patients during their annual examinations, but it is particularly important for people with a history of high blood
pressure, diabetes, flashing lights, headaches, retinal disease, or those with a strong spectacle prescription.
